Description
This is a men's beaded bracelet made of 6mm black labradorite beads on a stretch band. Black labradorite is a dark natural stone that shows a flash of blue, green or grey when the light hits it at an angle. The bracelet is 7.5 inches (19cm) long and slips on without a clasp. It's $35 CAD on its own, or free with every order from our store. Shipping is free across Canada.
The Bracelet at a Glance
- Stone: black labradorite, a natural stone in a dark body colour
- Bead size: 6mm, a slim bead, slightly narrower than a pencil
- Length: 7.5 in (19cm)
- Fit: a stretch band, so there is no clasp
- Look: a quiet, dark bracelet that shows its flash in the light
What Is the Flash?
The flash is called labradorescence. It is light bouncing off thin layers inside the stone. You can't see it from every direction. Turn the bracelet in the light, and a blue, green or grey glow appears and fades. Every stone is different, so no two bracelets look exactly alike.
Sizing
Measure your wrist with a soft tape before you order. This bracelet is 19cm long and stretches to go over the hand. Roll it on instead of pulling it wide.
Wear It With
- A watch: a dark stone bracelet sits well next to a metal watch.
- A silver chain: browse our sterling silver chains for a bright, clean contrast.
- A steel chain: our stainless steel chains for men add a bolder look.

Caring for Your Bracelet
These stones are softer than quartz, so they can scratch or chip. A few habits help it last:
- Take it off for sports, heavy work and swimming.
- Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Keep it away from harsh chemicals. Don't use our jewelry cleaner on it, because that cleaner is not for gemstones.
- Store it flat or in a pouch, away from harder jewelry.
Black Labradorite Bracelet Questions
What is black labradorite?
"Black labradorite" is a name used for very dark stones with a blue-grey flash. Some are dark labradorite. Many are larvikite, a related rock from Norway with a similar shimmer. Both are natural stones.
How can I tell if the stone is real?
Real natural stone shows its flash only at certain angles. Painted or glass beads show the same colour from every direction. If you have questions about this bracelet's beads, contact us.
Will every bracelet look the same?
No. Each stone is natural, so the colour and the flash vary a little from bracelet to bracelet.
What does labradorite mean?
In folklore, many people link labradorite to change and protection. These are beliefs, not science. We sell this bracelet for its look.
What size bracelet should a man wear?
It depends on your wrist. Measure it with a soft tape. A stretch bracelet is easier to fit than one with a clasp. This one is 19cm long.
